AEG has a new application process which will hopefully make joining AEG less of a headache for both the recruit and current members. Becoming a member of AEG depends mainly on a players Character and history with us and others.
If you just started playing on our servers, and/or nobody in the clan knows you, you will not get sponsored or voted in. Spend sometime playing in our server and getting to know the members of AEG before you apply.
1) Submit an application (temporarily frozen).
When an application is submitted it sits in our recruitment section for members to view. At least 3 members will need to sponsor you before you are promoted to new recruit.
2) Upon promotion you will receive an auto-generated email telling you to place small tags on, only at this point are you a new recruit.
Recruitment is a time to get to know the members you perhaps haven't met yet, and playing with us in the game, on TS and posting in forums is really important during this time. At the point you were promoted the system already has set your voting date, which will begin 14 days after promotion.
3) During voting members will have 7 days to cast their vote to either let you in to the clan, or to decline your membership.
In fact two things can happen at this point, either over half the clan will vote one way which will automatically stop the voting and you will be notified, or the full 7 days will pass and the system will tally up the votes then notify you.
4) At the end of a maximum of 21 days, you will be notified via email and in the server whether you have been accepted as a full member or told that your membership was declined.
So that is the new system, again pretty straight forward:
1) Apply
2) Get promoted to recruit (small tags)
3) Voting
4) Accepted (large tags) or declined (remove tags completely)
